According to the Decision No. 3338/QĐ-BYT of the Ministry of Health issued on July 8, 2021, 10,000 medical manpower from units under the Ministry of Health and from different provinces in the North and Central were mobilized to support in the prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemic in Ho Chi Minh City.

From July 12 to July 18, 2021, hotel system under Saigontourist Group in Ho Chi Minh City including Rex Hotel, Majestic Hotel, Continental Hotel, Oscar Hotel, First Hotel...have welcomed and supported accommodation, meals for thousands of volunteer medics, doctors and medical staffs from Nghe An, Vinh Phuc, Quang Nam, Thua Thien - Hue, Thanh Hoa, Thai Nguyen, Yen Bai, Hai Phong, Ha Nam provinces...coming to the city in waiting time to be assigned to field hospitals, quarantine areas, districts and Thu Duc City. They will be participated in tracing, sampling, testing, vaccination, and treatment. The commission to welcome and assist logistics services for other medical teams will be carried out by Saigontourist Group in the upcoming time.

At the same time, starting from July 19, 2021, Saigontourist Group has welcomed and supported long-term accommodation and meals at it hotels for more than 1,800 doctors and nurses participating in the fight against epidemic at field hospitals, Covid-19 Resuscitation Hospitals from Cho Ray Hospital, 115 Hospital, University Medical Center, Children's Hospital, Thong Nhat Hospital, Department of Health... Thus, from June 2021, these are large medical groups from the city hospitals supported by Saigontourist Group for logistics. Along with them, Saigontourist Group has also supported two other groups of 350 doctors and medical staffs from Pham Ngoc Thach and Can Gio hospitals participating in the treatment of current Covid-19 patients. Free meals and long-term accommodation at Dong Khanh Hotel and Can Gio Resort have been provided to assist them.

In addition, Saigontourist Group cooperates with Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Association to prepare cakes and nutritious drinks to offer to medical staffs, Covid-19 cases and especially to pediatric patients in the city.

Also starting from the middle of July this year, Saigontourist Group has supported the logistics for other anti-epidemic mission groups of the Central, including a special group of senior experts from the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Information and Communications supporting Ho Chi Minh City in anti-epidemic missions.

This is one of the emergency logistics support missions undertaken by Saigontourist Group for medical staffs involved in the prevention and control of Covid-19 in Ho Chi Minh City.

In an effort to join hands with Ho Chi Minh City and the whole country to soon control and repel the Covid-19 epidemic, Saigontourist Group and its member units have always been pioneers in participating in epidemic prevention and control activities.
